Shanghai Teahouse Restaurant

Following 11 years of providing services to our valued diners at Burnside Village Shopping Centre, we are pleased to announce that Shanghai Teahouse has reopened at Firle Plaza.

The tea house concept is a first for Adelaide and Firle, with patrons not only enjoying fantastic healthy, fresh food, fabulous tea but also being able to witness to the manufacture of the Dim Sums and the traditional tea making process.

The restaurant provides patrons with a traditional breakfast experience in addition to a unique Chinese experience, which includes:

• All day Dim Sim (yum cha) based on Shanghai style, which means the yum cha is more steamed and pan fried rather than deep fried, thus it provides a healthier eating alternative.
• Tables orders are taken rather than the traditional trolley concept.
• Tea is matched with food to enhance the experience.
• All dim sim dishes are prepared fresh on the premises and a display window exists so patrons can watch the preparation and cooking process.
• Tea products and various tea serving pots and cups are available for sale.

Our concept adds value to the multiculturalism facets of Adelaide.
